Hi, i brought this car back in 2011, at the time i was not told was a cat d and it was my first car so i did not do a hpi check as it was from a dealer, anyways having spent £1000 in a month repairing it, i had a rattling/vibrating sound coming from the drivers side, i was told this was the coil pack, having the coil pack change the noise is still there!! any ideas!

Hi Lids

as you do no t mention how old this beast is we must assume it is n old one which combined with fiat's reputation for poor build quality and also you do not mention mileage we might assume it has done many miles. so yes expenditure on old cars is like throwing money down a drain so what will it cost next month is the question. as it is not going to stop there especially with an old FIAT with lots of miles on it.

yes the FIAT GRANDE PUNTO is a right piece of old junk sorry and if it is ever in a collision lie tissue paper. fast it might be when new but no match for many a newer car.

they are an electric powered motor for puntos. My guess is that its scuffling with engaged on finished lock and has in basic terms began because of the fact the climate has have been given chilly. Its an basic fault on the mk2 puntos, and it form of feels on your mk3 punto. vehicles and guidance columns are between £50 2d hand to £one hundred-£250 new. attempt the punto boards for a thank you to guides and the place is suited to purchase them. Its no longer a huge activity, in basic terms involves taking sprint off, and swapping areas

most cars will have a warranty for a short period from a dealer or we can if suspecting wrong trading description etc and seek assistance form a trading standards officer or ask their dealers organisation for advise.

ask Friends for advise whom have car knowledge. often even just another person looking can help pinpoint an issue.

eg rattle form a loose fitting.

have we tried moving, shaking ,twisting things under bonnet ? bounced car ? ( exhaust clips etc)

failing locating it try a garage whom hopefully will be able to pinpoint easily thus saving annoyance and possibly costs.
